Biotech Law Center is an innovative alternative to a traditional law firm or in-house job for transactional attorneys in the life science, medtech and healthcare space.

Work from anywhere. Set your own schedule. Biotech Law Center operates as a virtual firm. We don’t have a fixed office location. All of our attorneys work remotely, usually from a home office. We leverage technology to enable efficient workflows and reduce the amount of time attorneys spend on administrative tasks. Our attorneys have the flexibility to establish their own hours and schedules to accommodate their other commitments and lifestyle preferences.

We are peers supporting each other. We only hire experienced attorneys. We don’t have a hierarchical structure. Our attorneys are colleagues, rowing the same boat together. We employ a lean staffing model where most projects are completed by a single attorney, working one-on-one with the client. However, in contrast to a solo law practice, we offer the support and resources of a firm, more certainty regarding compensation, and fewer administrative burdens.

Doing meaningful work. Our clients are on the cutting edge of science, discovering cures for diseases and devoted to improving human health. We help these companies achieve their goals, and make it possible for them to commercialize their products, services, and technologies. We help our clients make a difference in the world.

Unique compensation structure. We don’t have fancy offices or loads of support staff, and this allows us to operate a business that is lean and efficient. That means we can offer compelling value to our clients while also providing great compensation opportunities for our attorneys. In addition to salary and benefits, we provide a generous monthly stipend to cover the cost of maintaining a home office. We also offer a quarterly bonus program tied to billable hours – and the bonus is not capped. Your hard efforts are rewarded, tangibly, every 3 months.

We are an equal opportunity employer. We do not discriminate against any candidate or employee on the basis of race, national origin, sex, marital status, sexual orientation, age, disability, religion or veteran status. Biotech Law Center is committed to increasing participation by minorities and women in the legal profession and expanding the opportunities for minorities and women within the profession. We are proactive in recruiting minority and women lawyers and strongly encourage the interest of these candidates in the firm.
