Biotech Law Center – Medical Diagnostics Law

Biotech Law Center provides “outsourced in-house” legal services. We negotiate the types of agreements typically handled by in-house lawyers, and we serve as trusted advisors for companies that are either not yet ready for a full-time GC or who otherwise need an experienced part-time lawyer to efficiently handle a variety of commercial contracts without disrupting the company’s relationship with existing outside counsel.

Complementing the Services of Traditional Outside Counsel

One of our key tenets is that we do not replace the services of a traditional outside law firm. Most Biotech Law Center attorneys have spent a number of years working inside corporate legal departments, and we value the relationship between in-house and outside counsel. Both types of lawyers play important and distinctive roles, and each adds value in different ways. Our services are targeted to the in-house role, and we always work in partnership with a company’s existing outside law firm for the benefit of our mutual client.

OUR SERVICE MODEL
Based on 4 pillars

Deep Domain
Expertise

We are transactional attorneys, dedicated to the work that in-house counsel does, and we only represent clients in life science and healthcare-related fields. This focus translates into deep domain expertise.

Experienced
Attorneys

All Biotech Law Center attorneys have practiced law for at least 15 years and many of us have more than 25 years’ experience, including significant experience working either in-house
or with full-service law firms.

Lean
Staffing

We don’t have a pyramid-shaped staffing model where multiple lawyers join every client call. Our clients don’t pay to train junior attorneys. Most matters are staffed with one attorney handling the project from start to finish.

Compelling
Value

We operate as a “virtual” firm where all attorneys work remotely.
As a result of our low overhead,
we can offer top-notch attorneys at rates that are a fraction of what traditional law firms charge.
